I’m currently setting up a new website for a friend, using Wordpress. I’m not sure yet how the design’ll be, but I guess that I’ll take a openly available theme and tweak it til we get it how we want. Here’s a list of interesting candidates

• AutoFocus. I really like this one. Check the preview, and this article from allancole.com. Even if I won’t use it this time I’ll definitely check it out.
• Pixeled. Nice one, but not completely what I’m looking for: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/pixeled
• Fordgarages from rock-kitty.net. Preview: http://www.fordgarages.co.uk/blog/. Download site http://themes.rock-kitty.net/car-theme/. I like the rock-kitty-stuff.  This one also looks quite nice.
• TarouMag from from topwpthemes.com. Preview: http://wpjunction.com/themes/taroumag/ . I really like their “magazine-style” themes. I’m not sure if I like their way of using the categories as tabs, but I’ll definitely test it. Here’s a couple of others atriumax, Nisposa Mag and WPjunction.
• Premium News. This looks quite much like what I’m looking for actually. Needs quite much tweaking though.
